• Blade Size Matters: If you’ve got a blade over 14 inches, please contact our customer service before placing your order. These are handled on a case-by-case basis.

• Limitations: We love knives, but we don’t sharpen those with serrations, major regrinds, or ceramic knives.

By sending your knife(s) for sharpening, you authorize Blade HQ to alter the edge to improve sharpness and overall performance. This process involves the removal of metal, which may result in slight changes to blade width or shape over time. This is a standard part of the sharpening process and may affect the appearance of the blade after multiple services.

Shipping & Packaging Responsibility

 You are responsible for safely packaging and labeling your knife(s) prior to drop-off. Please ensure all blades are securely sheathed or wrapped to prevent injury during handling. Blade HQ will take reasonable care in repackaging and returning your knives, but is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft that may occur during return shipment.

Personal Responsibility & Safe Handling

By participating in this service, you confirm that you are familiar with proper knife handling and safety. Sharpened blades are extremely sharp. Blade HQ is not liable for any injury resulting from the handling, testing, or use of your knife(s) once returned. Exercise extreme caution when opening the package and testing the edge.
